This is 2 different places to eat. During the morning it is a beatiful brunch location, with prawns, steak and eggs, and deserts. Then at night it is a specialty steak restaurant, with seafood options as well.
During daylight you have a breathtaking view of the ship's wake.
This was absolutely our favourite place for breakfast. The brunch style menu was a lot more classy than the usual "bacon and eggs" menu you get at breakfast. It felt like a place to linger, and enjoy the food.
At dinner it became a steak and seafood restaurant. The menu was extensive, with 3 or 4 steaks, lamb chops, chicken and fish options, and every dish we tried was perfect. Deserts were amazing. Even the bread was a highlight.
So does it compare well to the $100 per person option on Celebrity or Royal? Not totally. The paid restaurant on Celebrity is more like an exclusive restaurant, where the Wake has more guests. The food is almost as good. It is absolutely a huge step up from the main dining room on any ship I have been on, but not quite at specialty level. But it is included in your fare, so it is an amazing dining option
